Stunning, the white out eyes surrounded by scars combine to make a eyecatching avatar.
Well done.

For Saede: 7/10. However, given the "pretty" nature of the match, I grant an extra point. My only comment is lighting, perhaps its a bit dark for my taste but all the same, well done.
So its an 8/10
Snitch managed to wedge in at the last moment, so in a rare edited two-fer comment... Snitch, your looking not bad. But that background washes you out some... 7/10. |

Anne, your in possesion off an interesting look. Your a "cheeky" girl.
7/10, this pose is better.

Ivy, you have softened up your look, This is nice, in spite of the horrible rating someone else gave... eye of the beholder and all, I suppose.
I like this, 8/10, with the suggestion of getting a little closer in for the shot, but that would mess with your pose and negate it largely... always about compromise around here.
Yuwee Vesa wrote:@Sari'kor Kador: I like this it looks natural 9/10. Perhaps with a background that matches your avatars lighting better and a little zoom to see more detail, even 10/10
@Faulker Gath'nor: Love the tattoo and monocle 9/10. Makes me think of Star Trek for some reason...
Thanks, and thats now the second comment I got regarding the some what apprently "Riker-ish" look here... probably a product of watching the show for all these many years! I'm looking for some improvement ideas too, all ideas are welcome. |

Good look, simple... hip, casual, but not sloppy.
A bit dark, more lighting might be good.
Overall good

Good look, maybe a different choice of backgrounds, since you blend in a bit much... more contrast may look good.

7/10 I blend in? Racist.
Racist would have been not mentioning changing the color of the... "background" lol
In space you can't hear a racist scream, but you can for a moment hear them wildly beating on the airlock door... |

I like the smirk... so few have any sort of smile, most feature that pouty or sullen expression. Even with the goggles ( which I am not overly fond of) I still rate 7/10, maybe work with the lighting intensity and soften it up some, otherwise a good avatar. |

Normally I am not a fan of such dark portraits, but in this case it looks good. Maybe warm the lighting a little, to really get that "inky blackness" effect you have going on.

Good portrait, you have a "was going for coffee then I was coming back to kill you, but since your still running your mouth the coffee will have to wait..." Look. Very Ninja.
8.5/10 Maybe play with the background some, but def keep it dark. |

Outstanding! What an excellent look you have gotten.
Perhaps... address the scar, it looks good, but it shifts the balance of the picture somewhat. Maybe move it higher... In any event, this is a 9.5/10. |

I like the look of your portrait... almost like you just leaned into a room to see what's happening. While I'm a fan of a little more light, this works well for you, appearing in the shadows! Clothes of good cut and combination, orderly looking.
Nicely done, I rate 9/10 for good taste, and modest appearance. |

The portrait sends a message of a practical, no non-sense captain... The shadows are balanced by you emerging into light.
I like it for it's clean nature and good pose. 9\10 |

Really well done. The expression is excellent, and the background, while dark, really compliments your color choices and ends up being an out standing portrait .
10/10 for the result of great work. |

From a coffee bar, to closely orbiting a star, your look is hip and nicely done! The choice of back ground really makes the portrait pop out, pose and expression all tie together to produce a really nice overall effect... 9/10. |

The tattoos' and harsh lighting really amp up this portrait. There is a real "Clockwork Orange" vibe going on... and little hope of rehabilitation... Love it. I am unsure of the background, but nothing springs to mind that I would consider "a better fit".
9/10
(And as for Neph, per your rate request, I must rate also as a 9/10 for such a dark, brooding portrait. The heavy facial tattoos are at the same time busy, but provide an indication of waters than run deep and dark inside. This portrait is how "origin stories" get started.) |

I say the portrait is excellent, it has an "action movie poster" kind of feel... along with the bold tattoo work, and clean simple wardrobe choices, this is good. Maybe tinker with the lighting a little, but in all honesty you may not improve it much because it is already top end.

Honestly... Yours is a portrait style I am very fond of. , The armor and pose are excellent, very formal, the look, expression and tone communicate a great deal. Good use of soft lighting basically negates the "armor problem"... nicely done btw... and of course since you are a fellow with fine taste in eyewear, you receive a full point extra for that.
A portrait fit to be hung... 9.5/10 |

A clean, young look. An open expression, no obvious looking threat... Background works well, combined with the pose its evocative of seeing someone in a darkened club off the beaten path, a part of the scene but yet slightly mis[placed.
Very nice work, and effect. 9/10 |

A good portrait, well posed with appropriate lighting. It's evocative but very calm and clean.

TBH at first I kind of thought "no", but this is a nice portrait really... the glasses just miss being right... however its the strength of the portrait perhaps... I think you stole them, like you always do... we never see you in the same glasses... even if you are gone for like five minutes, you come back with different glasses... WTH!... this is like a whole set of stories I want to hear.
This one was fun... 10/10 |

Quietly nice... good use of background in framing, as well as keeping a festive look about it, the very clean martial presentation is much softened by a puckish enigmatic smile. The shadowed glance is inviting, but makes no promise of a response amusing to any but yourself.

You are one of the "Boys from Brazil"....
a portrait that transmits a promise of vast, deep malignance and focused, thoughtful malice.
10/10 Outfit is subtle but excellent quality, and the background nicely compliments the feel of the portrait. |

Overall, a good portrait. The armor looks good with the background, pose and expression work hard, and send a no nonsense message... which will go unheeded by non-sense generators, to their own undoing.

The dress, that would cost the fortunes of 100 planetside rich men... you wear it as casually as if it were a tee-shirt, portrait not over done, good colors and a faintly cat like attitude seems to peek out. Perhaps Jin-Mei? Maybe tweek the background for a better silhouette, but again the soft edges are kind of nice too.

It's what a kitten would see when it's box was first opened after it was abandoned on the steps of the homeless shelter... the beginning of an endearing "buddy story" between the hard hearted pod pilot and his unlikely new baby feline friend.
IMDB gave it 2.1
But I give an 9/10, for such a fun portrait that invites the viewer not to take it seriously. |

Simplistic lighting, somewhat harsh, good clothes and choice of expression. The eyes (not smiling), and the smile (also, not smiling) say...
"No worries, and don't look so stricken, You will be eaten next..."
That odd gleeful expression would look well placed on Hannibal Lector.
8.5/10 The only advice I could even offer here would be tweek the background some to break up the colors a little.

Yours is one of the brighter light portraits that I have seen, I like it just for the difference it sets as the eye is drawn to yours rather naturally I think because of the immediate level of enhanced "clarity". Lighting alone is good, but you manage to rock the shades, and the pose is also different than most.
Nicely done, 9/10 for a standout portrait. |
